Most airlines, such as American, have sales throughout the year for different destinations. Sign up for email alerts and you can find out about sales such as this one.  One of our NLI associates found flights from the U.S. to Buenos Aires that were almost half the normal price (a flight from New York to Buenos Aires for $673 round trip). This is a sale that cannot be missed. Find the details on AA.com, and here is the basic information:

Look for Consolidator Tickets

Another way to find cheap tickets is to look for consolidator flight tickets. These tickets are from third-party companies that buy up large blocks of tickets for cheaper prices from different airlines and sell them at discounted rates. To find these tickets, try sites like Bargain Travel and book for less. A quick search on their website  today returned tickets from NYC to Buenos Aires for under $600!

Student Rates

If you are a student, then you can qualify for cheaper tickets. Sites such as Student Universe can help you find student discounts for flights, and STA Travel is another good site which also has discounts for young professionals and teachers! Today the site found tickets for around $650 NYC to BsAs round-trip, which is a great rate.
